This oval shaped palette with a smooth surface and thumb hole is just like the classic palette that is the preferred choice for mixing pasty paints like acrylics - only its not wood! When mixing paints, this transparent colourless palette gives you a good idea how they will look later because you won´t be influenced by a surrrounding colour. The flat surface has no hollowed out areas - which makes it much easier to clean than ones with wells. In the case of acrylic paints, the palette can be warmed up on your heater whereby any remaining paint will become easy to remove by basically pulling it free.
