Arches oil painting pad contains 12 sheets of high quality paper Arches Huile. It is made in a traditional process on a cylinder mold machine. The even distribution of fibers gives the cold pressed paper a good flatness and high stability. Qualitatively, the Arches Huile resembles handmade papers.
The oil painting paper is made of pure cotton. You can use it for marouflage. Its fine-grained texture is comparable to canvases, making it ideal for oil paints and oil pastels. The surface is semi-absorbent. Thanks to the special sizing and puncture barrier, it is not necessary to prime the paper. It is resistant to scratching and impresses with very good color reproduction. The pigments are fixed to the surface so that they dry quickly. Since you can cut and roll the paper as needed, it is also suitable for outdoor use.
The 300 g/m² paper is acid-free and resistant to aging. The block is glued on the short side.
