This plastic card box was designed in the late 1960s by Walter Zeischegg for the Helit company – a really nice and even less-expensive (for once!) design classic, if you will, that is still being produced to this day. One unusual aspect: it opens by pulling the cover towards you. In doing so, the cover becomes a second bottom allowing you to divide the contents into two separate halves after opening. Both „bottoms“ are ribbed so that the cards will stay in place. The one disadvantage to this really nice box: the cards from the forward half of the box can easily fall out of the box because the wall on that half is way too low. This means that you must make sure that the cards in the front half are leaning clearly towards the back.
