Comfortably soft and wonderfully voluminous: The Chunky yarn forms the ideal basis for large-scale works such as blankets and pillowcases. Whether you're knitting, crocheting or weaving, the untwisted merino fibers lend an exciting structure to your works. The width of the yarn of about 25 mm allows you to work the wool directly with your hands. If you prefer to use needles, you can spray the yarn with warm soapy water, twist it slightly and let it dry. This will make it easier for you to handle. The yarn is suitable for needle sizes of approx. 30-45 mm. You can also divide the fiber strand and use thinner needles accordingly.
In the first few days after processing, the wool may puff up. With time it will settle. If necessary, you can dry clean your finished work or use the refresh function of the washing machine at low temperature. The wool will not come into contact with water and will not swell.
Since the wool is untwisted, you can also use it for spinning.
