nitrocellulose lacquer, transparent, colourless, glossy, smudge-resistant, not weather-resistant

Zapon varnish is a nitrocellulose-based, fast-drying transparent varnish that is primarily used as an oxidation protection for metals. The varnish should be applied in a very thin coat, is not weather-resistant and should therefore only be used in warm, dry spaces.
