We all know it already from kindergarten days, universal construction paper (or drawing paper) for crafting, painting, and decorating. With its matte and slightly rough surface, it's particularly handy for children's hands. Basically, construction paper is a thinner and thus reproducible version of photo cardstock. It's suitable for laser or screen printing, but for ink-jet or offset printing, you should perform preliminary tests.
The acid-free construction paper is dyed through, therefore does not bleed and is relatively light-resistant. Like photo cardstock, it's made from waste paper, which is used as residue in the production of paper goods (pre-consumer). In addition, it's dyed in an eco-friendly way and is certified with the Nordic eco-label "Nordic Swan," one of the strictest environmental labels in Europe.
The certification "Nordic Swan" guarantees you products made of 100% environmentally friendly ingredients as well as a holistic, sustainable supply chain. In addition, the photo cardstock corresponds in toxicological terms to the European standard on safety of toys (DIN EN 71, Part 3).
