The EasyPress heat transfer press from Cricut makes transferring your designs to textile substrates really fun. In the app, which you can download to your smartphone or tablet, you make all the necessary presettings for the material and can then be sure that the press, which is connected via Bluetooth, is working at the optimum temperature. Thanks to the large ceramic heat transfer surface, every square centimeter is heated evenly and precisely to the right temperature.

Of course, you can also try using an iron to apply your heat transfer ribbons to the textile of your choice. However, there is always uncertainty as to whether you have worked with sufficient heat and whether the heat was really correct at every point. If you work (partially) with too little heat, your work will not adhere properly to the textile and, in the worst case, will detach from the substrate after a few washes. And if you work with too much heat, in the worst case scenario (by fusing a film to the substrate) you could lose your work and the textile.
