This screen printing medium delays the drying of the paint. It is part of the Daler Rowney System 3 and is therefore a screen printing method with acrylic paint. With this medium, which can be easily diluted with water, you can make screen prints with acrylic paint. The medium is suitable for prints on diverse materials, primarily paper and cardboard, and there is an additional medium for prints on textiles. The mixing ratio of medium to acrylic paint is 1:1, so mix together the exact same amount of paint and medium. By using this medium, you will prevent the acrylic paint from drying on the screen and thereby reduce the risk of a blockage on the screen. Furthermore, you will better be able to wash the paint from the screen.

System 3 acrylic paints also retain their density even after being mixed with medium and cover paper and card stock well. The paint retains its shine with the medium, and you can achieve clear-cut print results.

The water-based screen printing System 3 offers the opportunity to produce screen prints with your own references with relatively simple means and no aggressive chemicals or exposure to a photochemical coating. With System 3, you work with low-odor ink that can be diluted with water. All the components are suitable for use in schools, studios, or homes.
