This agent for screen printing ink was specially designed for textile printing and is part of the Daler Rowney System 3. With this medium, you can make screen printing ink out of acrylic paints that is suitable for textile printing. By using this agent, you not only prevent the acrylic paint from drying on the screen but also increase the opacity and acutance of the paint as well as its wash resistance and elasticity.
This agent should be mixed with Daler Rowney System 3 paints at a ratio of 1:1. You can use it when printing on cotton, cotton blend fabric, silk, natural fiber, or synthetic fabrics. After printing, you should heat fix the result, with, for example, an iron or transfer press. Pay attention to the ironing-temperature specifications of the manufacturer of the textile in question.
The water-based screen printing System 3 offers the opportunity to produce screen prints with your own references with relatively simple means and no aggressive chemicals or exposure to a photochemical coating. With System 3, you work with low-odor ink that can be diluted with water. All the components are suitable for use in schools, studios, or homes.
