Forget single-use plastic water bottles and fight plastic pollution with every sip you drink! Dopper says that a single Dopper bottle can keep 104 single-use plastic bottles out of our oceans every year. And the robust stainless steel bottle can surely last a few years. It is very durable, even if it is surprisingly light due to its thin walls. The bottle also scores highly in terms of sustainability during production:
- Stainless steel body made from 90% recycled steel.
- Cradle to Cradle certificate in bronze: the global standard for safe, circular and responsible products.
- Responsibly manufactured in China and in compliance with the BSCI Code of Conduct.
- Shipped using biofuel as part of the GoodShipping program.
And because Dopper bottles are so easy to clean and fill, there's nothing to stop you from protecting the environment while drinking. But please bear one thing in mind: a Dopper bottle is not an insulated bottle. But with a few ice cubes, which you can easily get into the bottle through the large opening, your water will stay nice and cool. You can see the special feature of Dopper bottles when you turn them upside down: the screw cap is also a drinking cup with a stand. This means you can not only drink your cold or hot tap water directly from the bottle opening, but also drink it neatly from the cup.
Dopper is a certified "B-Corporation" and does good with its business. Every bottle sold reduces plastic pollution and gives projects for safe drinking water in Nepal a kick-start. In 2020, Dopper launched the Dopper Wave - a global movement of ocean savers, companies and organizations that are fighting plastic pollution in equal measure. To do this, they are banning single-use plastic water bottles from their lives, offices and events.
Please note the following when using your Dopper bottle: Rinse it with warm water before first use. You can also clean it in your dishwasher up to 65 °C. For stubborn stains, use a mixture of water, vinegar and baking soda and leave the mixture in the bottle overnight. Then rinse the bottle with clean water. Please do not fill the bottle with hot drinks and do not put the bottle in the freezer. After rinsing or when not in use, it is best to store the bottle unscrewed without the cup and lid.
