In addition to their light, stable, impact-resistant and easily printable properties, Forex color PVC rigid foam sheets also offer an expressive color effect. They are uniformly colored throughout, so that the coloring appears homogeneous from every angle. Their cell structure is fine and uniform, and the surface is silky. The sheets insulate well against heat, cold and sound. They are flame retardant and self-extinguishing (building material class B1 according to DIN 4102). Their bulk density is 500-580 kg/m³.

Forex color panels are ideal for use in the field of visual communication. You can use them in trade fair and exhibition construction, for laminating photos, for sign and display production or for building partition walls and furniture. The material is resistant to moisture, but is limited to indoor use, as the color pigments can fade when used outdoors.

Processing can be done with standard tools for wood and plastic processing. For sawing the forex rigid foam boards, carbide-tipped circular saw blades with plastic grinding are suitable. Depending on the density and tooth shape of the saw blade, the cutting speeds are approx. 3000 m/min, the feed rate should be 30 m/min.

You can also use metal drills, for larger diameters also circular cutters or peeling drills. The cutting speed should be between 50 and 300 rpm at a feed rate of 0.3 - 0.5 mm/rev.

Forex rigid foam sheets are excellent for printing, varnishing and painting. Screen printing or digital plate printing is the most suitable method for printing. For the production of signs, Forex is usually covered with self-adhesive films (e.g. Oracal).

Forex panels can be nailed, screwed, riveted and glued. For adhesive bonding, the Cosmofen Plus HV PVC adhesive of the same name is excellent.
