Golden Heavy gel is thicker than Golden acrylic paints and when mixed with them it provides more body and fullness. When applied with a palette knife or a brush, pronounced textures with intact peaks can be created. As with all Golden gels, the level of transparency and glossiness of an acrylic paint can be modified with the Heavy gel. The glossy version is the most transparent when dry. This gel can of course be used right from the bottle as a support primer or used like a thick glaze on dry paints.
