A beautiful sketch booklet with sand yellow paper for chalk, red ochre (ruddle pastel crayon) and coloured pencils – this is not to overlook basic pencil drawings or just plain writing as in a notebook. The paper is really smooth and uniform with occasional sprinklings of colour. In addition, it is acid-free and aging resistant. The cover is made of a very firm, slightly rough textured brown cardboard that is stiff enough that it tends to stubbornly stick out – it is therefore advisable to use a rubber band as a closure – but that stiffness also means that the cover can be used as backing when drawing!
