If, for example, a photo or drawing is to be applied to the entire surface of the board, the reverse side must be laminated with a comparable material, otherwise there is a risk that it will curl. If water-based paints are used, both sides must be covered for the same reason. The rigid foam board can be used not only as presentation board, but also in architectural model making, although Kapa is the better material for model making due to its lower dimensional tolerances, as it is very dimensionally stable, has very good flatness and has a polyurethane core that is more resistant to solvents.

The paper-laminated rigid foam board can be glued with polystyrene-compatible adhesives such as Tesa all-purpose adhesive or Uhu por. When working with adhesives or paints containing solvents, you should always carry out preliminary tests, as these could dissolve the polystyrene foam core.
