This honeycomb inner part lacks the outer shell seen on the usual commercial honeycomb boards which are normally covered on both sides with other different types of board. This, then, provides the means for you to make your own layered board using veneer/wood, MDF, cardboard, paperboard, etc. as the shell material. Or you can use the honecomb raw as a filler, as a decorative wall piece or as some kind of stackable object (build a stool out of it!), or as a small table on which you can add painted designs, etc, etc. etc....
