The Jesmonite silicone coaster molds are flexible and reusable silicone molds for making coasters. First of all, you can choose different geometries and sizes. Once you have decided on a mold, you can fill it with various casting compounds such as Jesmonite, concrete, plaster and epoxy resin. The only material we do not recommend for casting is silicone. Please do not pour the silicone mold with a silicone casting compound, as this will bond permanently to the mold (at least without the use of a release agent) and cannot be removed. Thanks to the materiality and smooth surface of the mold, the cast coasters can otherwise be easily removed from the mold (usually without the use of a release agent). As the silicone used is so highly self-releasing, the mold can also be easily cleaned with water and a little washing-up liquid if necessary.
With this silicone mould, you can create individual coasters in your preferred colors and materials that are both functional and decorative. The flexibility and durability of the mold make it a tool that you will enjoy for a long time. Tip: Always store the silicone mold fully filled, for example with plaster. This increases the service life of the mold.
