The Jimihome tape measure is well thought out in its details and high quality workmanship. The white steel tape measure is printed with a black, easy-to-read scale and nylon coated. This makes it corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant. In addition, the coating prevents you from cutting yourself on the tape measure. With the tape measure exact inside and outside measurements are possible. For inside measurements, press the tape lightly against the starting point of the measurement. For outside measurements, hook the tape measure with the small metal angle at the end and pull the tape a little. The metal angle is intentionally flexible with the tape to compensate for or include the material thickness of the small angle in each measurement.
The housing is made of the resistant, non-stick TPE. It therefore survives many a fall undamaged and stays clean quite effortlessly. You'll find the two retraction brakes on the housing. With one brake on the bottom of the housing, you slow down the feeding speed of the tape by pressing and holding it. The other brake above the feed locks the tape at the desired length. The Jimihome tape measure is also equipped with a clip to hang in your pocket or belt and with a wrist loop, with which you can dangle the tape around your wrist or hang it on the wall.
