Thanks to their compact format, they are ideal for work in the field of tool, mold and model making. Since the set includes a round, a half-round, a square, a triangular, a flat and a conical file profile, you can easily adapt the tools to the task at hand. All variants are suitable for processing steel, non-ferrous metal, wood, plastic and numerous modeling materials. The tool steel of the file offers uniform hardness. The chop density and depth is uniform.
Good to know: The cut number of a file indicates the number of notches per inch of length. A file with a cut of 2 and a length of 100 mm is therefore finer than a file with a cut of 1. The harder the material you want to work on, the finer the cut you should choose.
Important: In order to enjoy your key files for as long as possible, we advise you to clean them thoroughly with a file brush after use. This ensures that the work dust does not rust in the notches.
