Tyvek is this thin paper-like material made of PE fibers that has many good properties: it is waterproof, tear-resistant, printable, lightweight and bright white. It is silky soft to the touch and very smooth. Disposable coveralls for renovation or for clean rooms are often made of Tyvek and nautical charts are also often printed on it. So here is a rather unusual bag made from Tyvek. Weighing only 82 grams, you can carry up to fifteen kilograms of luggage. Thanks to the light and thin material, the folded bag fits in every handbag and in many a jacket pocket. And because the material is as pristine white as a canvas, it is perfect for creating your own designs. It's best to take acrylic paints or acrylic markers and paint your Tyvek bag just the way you like it! A few more tips on care: If you want to wash your Tyvek bag at some point, it's best to wash it by hand using a mild soap. Then simply hang up and leave to dry, do not wring, spin or tumble dry. And please do not iron - PE is a thermoplastic material.

And last but not least: Tyvek textiles should not be used near heat, flames, sparks or in potentially explosive environments. The physical properties of Tyvek are not affected by water: Tyvek is equally strong wet or dry under normal conditions and ambient temperatures.
