Looking for the perfect flat closure for your self-made portfolio? Here is the simple and quick solution: Cut self-adhesive magnetic tape to the correct length with scissors or a cutter and glue it on at two opposite points or preferably also conceal it under the cover. Of course, the same principle applies to boxes, slipcases, and cases.
The attractive, flexible tape is also used wherever materials are to be magnetically equipped, e.g., to temporarily hang plans or posters on metal surfaces, or to attach fly screen inserts to window frames on warm summer nights.
Modulor application tip: For notoriously housework-shy roommates, the tape can help with magnetically equipped, creatively designed word blocks on the refrigerator: "It's your turn to do the dishes!" The latter can be exchanged for "vacuuming," "cleaning the bathroom," or "taking out the garbage." It could be worth a try.....
