The upholstered Modulor task chair focuses on healthy and active sitting at the workplace. The Modulor upholstered work chair complies with the work chair standard according to DIN 68877 and bears the GS mark for tested safety. A 5-year warranty as well as a 10-year after-sales warranty for spare parts provide the security of being able to use the chair for a long time. The high-quality upholstery fabric is available in 10 standard colors, with a further 18 colors available on request at no extra charge.
The Modulor upholstered task chair is built in a modular system, consisting of a base with castors, a gas spring, a seat support that contains the adjustment mechanism, and the two seat shells. All parts are screwed or plugged in and can be replaced individually if necessary. The chair is equipped with soft casters for hard floors.
The ergonomic design of the chair also promotes so-called "dynamic sitting", i.e. the chair allows frequent changes of sitting posture due to its movably adjustable elements, which reduces one-sided strain on muscles and intervertebral discs. For example, the weight-dependent adjustable backrest adapts to the respective sitting posture so that it follows the movements of the upper body and thus effectively supports the spine. Of course, the backrest can also be fixed in any inclination position. Furthermore, the seat surface inclination, which is also variably adjustable, allows the optimum body opening angle of at least 90° to be maintained depending on the working posture, reducing pressure loads in the thigh area, for example.
