Our high-quality, timeless solid wood panels are laid, glued and varnished by hand in the Ore Mountains. Experienced craftsmen pay attention to every detail when processing the wood so that its natural beauty and tangible structure are shown to their best advantage. The table tops are made of whitewashed, 25 mm thick ash wood with continuous slats. Because wood is a natural product, with a solid wood tabletop you are choosing a unique piece with its very own grain and color - a piece of nature, refined by traditional craftsmanship.
To keep the natural appearance of the wood alive, each board is sealed with a resistant, lightfast and dull matt acrylate-based multi-layer lacquer. The varnish protects against moisture and wear in particular. To ensure that you can enjoy your solid wood worktop for a long time, gather around it for social gatherings or make it the basis of your daily work, every worktop from a diameter of 65 cm is fitted with a steel ridge strip on the underside. This is flush-mounted so that the table top can be easily mounted on any table frame. The strip ensures that the table top remains flat and does not warp, but still allows the wood to continue working.
