Use the blank marker to configure your individual Molotow Twin Marker Sketcher! You can use any available cartridge. This gives you a choice of all 120 colors and three tips (brush tip "Brush", wedge tip "Chisel" or point tip "Round"). Each pen can be used independently on each side.
With the Molotow Sketcher, you are opting for a sustainable and very individually usable marker system, in which Molotow has put more than three years of development work. The result is a highly variable color and line system with 120 shades and 3 nibs. Each pen comes standard with a wedge and a brush nib. You can also buy a round point nib with a diameter of one millimeter. You can exchange each nib together with the cartridge as the cartridge and nib are firmly built into one another. On one hand, this means you throw away the tip every time you change the cartridge (more on that later on the topic of sustainability), on the other hand, you always have a really fresh tip. The special thing about Molotow's system is the Individual pen configuration. You are not only completely flexible with regard to the tip, but also with regard to the colors, and you can insert different colors into a pin on the two sides. That results in over 60,000 variants of pen assembly!
In terms of handling, you can see the three years of development in the well thought-out design: the triangular, ergonomically shaped pen lies very well in the hand, the surface feels good and gives a non-slip feeling. The cartridge exchange is not only very easy but also clean and unambiguous. You unscrew the cartridge counterclockwise with the cap closed. When you screw in the new cartridge, a clear clicking sound signals that the cartridge is seated correctly.
In addition to the housing, the inside is of course important: the special Aqua Pro ink is water-based, but dries almost as quickly as alcohol-based ones and does not bleed through. The deep and rich color brilliance will impress, which develops through the juicy flow of ink. By the way, the water in the ink comes from crystal-clear springs in the Black Forest.
A guiding principle in the development of the Sketcher was the intention to produce a marker that was as sustainable as possible. This has been successful on several levels. You get a high-quality and extremely functional marker that you'll keep and use again and again. That alone already saves resources compared to inferior products that you throw away because they don't serve their purpose or must be replaced with new ones. The cartridge replacement system saves over 55% plastic compared to buying a completely new marker. In addition, the marker cartridge is made from 95% recycled plastic, the fiber storage is made from 66% and the shaft (marker body) is made from 92%. These recycled contents are certified by the certification network and are post-consumer material (PET) and post-industrial material (PP). Molotow has also confirmed that the production of the pens emits almost 80% less CO2 into the atmosphere than conventionally produced pens due to the high proportion of recycled material. In addition, due to the water-based ink, a Molotow marker is more resource-efficient than a conventional marker in which industrial alcohol makes the color flow.
