The Montana Tech primer spray Aluminum Primer creates a neutral surface on aluminum in preparation for further coating with acrylic paints, nitro-combi paints or synthetic paints. The aluminum primer has a light grey color with a matte finish, which gives your paintwork a long life and an optimal aesthetic result. In addition, the primer prevents flaking and peeling from the aluminum substrate. With restrictions, the aluminum primer can also provide similar protection on copper and zinc. For best results, sand the surface with fine sandpaper before application and ensure that the surface is clean, dry and free from dust and grease. We recommend testing compatibility on a non-visible area of your material.
Application: Shake can vigorously for 2-3 minutes before use. Apply the Montana Tech Primer Spray Aluminum Primer in several thin coats, spraying in circular motions at least 25 cm apart if possible. Allow the application to dry for five minutes between coats. Coating with (lacquer) paints can then take place after a drying time of 2-4 hours. Coatings with alternative products may require a drying time of 24 hours or more, depending on the coating. It is always best to carry out a test spray on a non-visible area to check the compatibility of the varnish or paint. For optimum service life, please always store the cans with the nozzle in place.
