The Montana Tech primer spray Universal Primer, specially developed for solvent-sensitive and highly absorbent substrates, is made for you if you are looking for a primer that you can use on numerous materials. Whether wood, metal, paper, cardboard, concrete, ceramics or leather - the primer seals your surface, optimizes the adhesion and opacity of paints and varnishes and protects against weathering. For this purpose, the primer bonds with both the substrate and the applied paint layer.

We advise you to carry out a preliminary test on a non-visible area to check whether the substrate and the primer are compatible. If the answer is yes, you can start:

Make sure the substrate is clean and free of dust, grease and rust. If possible, wear a respiratory mask when working. Shake the spray can well for 2 to 3 minutes before use. Then apply the primer in a thin layer. Let the result dry for 3 to 4 minutes and repeat the process. Make sure that the layer you are overcoating is not completely dry - this will improve the adhesion of the tech spray. After about 24 hours, the Universal Primer is fully cured and you can sand it down or paint over it with synthetic nitro or acrylic paints, for example. Here, too, a preliminary test is recommended. The product is suitable for both interior and exterior use.
