You can use the self-adhesive warning tape to point out dangers such as critical protrusions, corners, and edges on buildings or to mark routes. The yellow and black striped tape is often used for immovable obstacles, while the red and white is used for moving objects such as barriers or gates.
The tape has good adhesive strength and can also be glued to smooth floors, but has a thinner plastic carrier than designated floor marking tapes, which are somewhat thicker, more robust, and therefore more expensive.
In the case of warning, marking, and barrier tapes, a distinction is made between left and right pointing, i.e., the hatching direction shows whether you can safely pass the hazard area on the left or right. Right-pointing means that the hatching runs from the top left to the bottom right on the vertically glued tape. If you glue a right-pointing tape horizontally, the result is a marking pointing to the left.
