Pattex Repair Extreme is an elastic all-purpose adhesive gel for gluing and repairing almost all indoor and outdoor materials. The transparent, one-component adhesive is suitable for heavy-duty and even gap-filling connections that were previously only successful with two-component adhesives. And that's not all, this all-rounder is also solvent-free.
Pattex Repair Extreme is suitable for absorbent and non-absorbent materials such as glass, ceramics, tiles, stone, concrete, wood, metal, and plastics (also Styrofoam and soft PVC, but no PE, PP, and PTFE), as well as for painted and lacquered surfaces. Because the hardened gel remains elastic, it is also suitable for rubber, cork, leather, textiles, cardboard, and paper. In the household, the high-temperature-resistant all-purpose adhesive solves problems with the washing machine or dishwasher, in a car, or on a motorcycle.
Pattex Extreme Repair does not shrink after hardening and is therefore paintable. The gel-like consistency allows precise dosage and clean working on vertical surfaces.
Three classic processing options
1. If the bond is to remain completely transparent, the gel is applied unilaterally. The parts to be bonded must be pressed together for at least 1 hour.
2. To fill gaps up to 5 mm wide, the adhesive is applied thickly and the parts to be glued are fixed for 1 to 3 hours after joining.
3. If a high initial strength is desired, Pattex Repair Extreme is applied as a contact adhesive on both sides. After 3-4 minutes of airing, the parts must be pressed together briefly.
