With the extra-long and flexible brush tip, you can achieve fine, lively lines in brush-lettering as well as filled surfaces with your illustrations or manga by pushing with varying degrees of pressure. If you're experienced in traditional Japanese calligraphy, you have a brush with ink on the go with the Arts Color Brush Pigment.

You can use the slightly flowing watercolor ink pure for an expressive, opaque paint application, or you can paint it like watercolor with water (e.g., with the Pentel Aqua Brush water brush).In both cases, the ink is resistant to water and light after it dries.

If you press the soft shaft a bit when painting, you can slightly increase the flow of ink when working with faster strokes. The shaft is simultaneously a large ink reservoir that holds 5 ml of content. Should it become empty at some point, unscrew it from the mouthpiece and replace it entirely with the Pentel replacement cartridge for Arts Color.
