Bam! With the plottiX PremiumFlex neon thermal transfer film set, you can give textiles bright accents. You can use the OEKO-TEX certified iron-on film in combination with materials made of cotton, polyester and mixed fabrics.

The product is elastic and also very durable. Even the smallest motifs can be cut from the 20 x 30 cm sheets. If you are using a Silhouette cutting plotter for this purpose, you can use the recommended blade setting 2 and contact pressure 4 as a guide. A preliminary test will help you to determine the best possible values. The settings depend heavily on the condition of your blade.

Transferring the film

To transfer the film, you can choose between a classic iron and a transfer press. In both cases, the pressing temperature should be 150 °C and the pressing time should be approx. 12 seconds. It is also advisable to pre-iron the textile for approx. 5 seconds before applying the motif. Then cover the iron-on film with baking paper and start pressing. You can remove the backing hot or cold. Your result can be washed at up to 60 °C. However, it is advisable to wash as cold as possible and to turn the fabric inside out beforehand.
