With a plottiX PremiumFlock thermal transfer film set, you have a solid basis for creating velvety iron-on designs according to your individual ideas. The OEKO-TEX certified foils are suitable for textiles made of cotton, polyester and blended fabrics. You can therefore decorate garments as well as home textiles and accessories with them.
If you are cutting your desired motif using a Silhouette cutting plotter, select blade setting 3 and a contact pressure of 33. It is always a good idea to carry out a preliminary test to check whether the result meets your expectations. The settings depend heavily on the condition of your blade.
Transferring the film
To transfer the film to the fabric, you can use an iron and a hard, flat surface or a special press. After you have hot-pressed the fabric for about 5 seconds, you can place your motif and cover it with baking paper. Then iron or press it for around 15 to 17 seconds at 160 to 170 °C. You can remove the backing as soon as the textile has cooled down.
The result can be washed at 40 °C and ironed if necessary. If possible, turn the textile inside out beforehand and keep the temperatures to which you expose the film as low as possible.
Please note: The size of the film may vary by up to 2% for technical reasons.
