The dimensions of the polystyrene half-round Stripes make it clear that we are talking about tenths of a millimeter here. The strips are therefore very dimensionally accurate and precisely produced. This makes them very suitable for precisely crafted models. The polystyrene is very easy to work with. It can be easily sawn or scored and broken with a cutter. Re-sanding is advisable for both options. The cut parts are then joined with adhesives. Joining with a solvent (dichloromethane) is certainly the most accurate option, as no adhesive residue oozes out or remains anywhere. However, superglue is similarly invisible. The colorless plastic adhesive Ruderer L530 is ideal for joining the stripes with other materials.
