R&G polishing compound is a silicone-free, water-soluble polishing compound with a creamy consistency that has been specially developed for polishing GRP (glass fiber reinforced plastic), paints, Plexiglas, aluminium and non-ferrous metals. It is ideal for removing fine scratches, for example those caused by 1200 grit sandpaper. You can then polish with R&G polishing paste to achieve a silky, shiny surface. Smaller areas can be polished by hand with a cotton cloth. For larger areas, we recommend using a polishing plate or a polishing machine.
