Do you want to give your painting base a grainy or relief-like texture? Or are you looking for a base with which you can authentically reproduce textures such as concrete, stone or gravel in model making? Royal Talens Pumice Stain Amsterdam is suitable for both purposes.
Three different grain sizes are available: fine, medium fine and coarse. You can use all variants directly from the jar or mixed with acrylic paints. There is nothing to prevent a generous application: Pumice stain dries without cracking. The surfaces that are hard and waterproof after drying can be painted over with acrylic paints. Be sure to note that the inherent color of the stain will influence the colors used. The grainy structure can also lead to higher paint consumption if you use the painting medium, for example, as a background for work with pastels.
