Schmincke College matt gel is a semi-transparent, pasty gel that can be mixed with acrylic paints or simply applied pure over other paint. It has a matte finish when dry which is how it gives a matte finish when applied over another paint. It is particularly effective when applied to glazed colour hues because very interesting matte transparent effects can be created. By virtue of its adhesive strength, this matt gel can also be used for collages and for embedding effect materials like, for example, HEKI MODEL SAND, COLOURED.
