With Schmincke's liquid earth, you can use a brush instead of chalk, red chalk or umber pencils/sticks to put your works on paper. The paint has a gouache-like consistency, which consists of earth pigments mined regionally in Germany. Gum arabic is used as a binding agent.
The liquid earths allow you to work cleanly and dust-free. You can dilute them with water to achieve different shades and textures. Depending on the surface and your paint application, the soil remains smudgeable and can be removed with water. We recommend that you always test how your painting surface and the liquid soil react to each other beforehand.
Liquid soil is the ideal choice if you want to fill larger areas. You can combine it with classic drawing materials such as sticks or pencils.
Important: As the liquid soil contains natural pigments, there may be minimal color variations with each batch.
