Stainless steel is as a rule not magnetic. Magnetic versions are available, especially ones for indoor use. In selecting our stainless steel sheets we always try to acquire those that are magnetic as long as they display comparable surface characteristics.
Its rust resistant alloy makes stainless steel an excellent choice for use outdoors or in kitchens and bathrooms. We have on offer stainless steel with three different surface types: untreated, polished and the circular patterned matte surface. Any inscription designating the type of material can be removed by using acetone.
Cutting work on stainless steel sheet with a thickness of up to 0.5 mm can be done with a metal snips; thicker sheets must be cut with either electric or hydraulic tools. The sheets cannot be soldered. Gluing work can be done with two component adhesives like, for example, those based on epoxy or cyanoacrylate.
