The Silhouette Kraft knives in the practical double pack cut materials with a thickness of up to 3 mm. In combination with your Silhouette Cameo 4 or 5, you can therefore try your hand at cutting felt, leather, foam rubber or similar materials. It is advisable to use a highly adhesive cutting mat to hold the thicker material in place during the cutting process.

The power knife is inserted into the right-hand tool head of the plotter. It is made of stainless steel. You can adjust the blade length continuously between 0.1 and 3 mm by hand, depending on the material you have chosen. We always advise you to carry out a preliminary test to find the right settings for your project.

Please note that the blade not only follows the contours of your motif in the power cut, but also makes additional loops. These loops are necessary to align the blade correctly and, for example, to actually cut out the corners of your motif squarely. Take the loop overlap and its influence on the necessary distances etc. into account when planning your project.
