The Steinel HL 1821 S is the simple and therefore inexpensive version of the hot air blowers. The temperature and air volume can be adjusted in two stages, a cold stage is not integrated. The thermal fuse protects the blower from overheating. This hot air blower also boasts the high quality of Steinel products, which is confirmed by the 36-month functional guarantee.

A good hot air gun can be used for a wide range of applications: Plastic parts can be thermoformed or welded together (see the "Material information" section under Plastics). In electrical engineering, cable ends or soldered joints are shrink-wrapped in heat-shrink tubing. The blower can also be used to remove old layers of paint or to remove stickers or other glued-on surfaces. As we know from hair dryers, hot air also dries: paints, fillers, grouted tiles ... Last but not least, the maximum temperatures are sufficient for soft soldering and therefore also for loosening solder joints.
