The Talens Ecoline Watercolor Brush Pen doesn't need two different tips to be versatile: With its flexible brush tip, you can draw precise, thin lines, create expressive brushstrokes for hand-lettering, or create larger areas of color like you do when painting. Combine the markers with the Royal Talens Ecoline Liquid Watercolor from the vial (the pigmentation can be slightly different, so it's best to do preliminary tests!).
The brilliantly shining, transparent colors are best displayed on bright watercolor and drawing paper. They dry quickly, but are water-soluble time and again, so you can continue your work at a later date.
By diluting with water or using the blender, you reduce the color intensity or create gradients and smooth transitions. Colors can be blended amongst themselves. With the three primary colors, lemon yellow (205), magenta (337), and sky blue cyan (578), you can learn to mix very well.
The field of application for the Ecoline Brush Pen ranges from the first painting experiments in school to calligraphy and watercolor, on the way to coloring your designs. Many designers and illustrators use them, for example, to finish their digital work.
Works made with the Ecoline Brush Pens are very easy to reproduce. In particular, the three primary colors and their mixtures give optimum results in four-color printing.
Attention: Ecoline watercolor is not light-resistant. Therefore, keep your finished work in a drawing folder.
Tip: Dried Ecoline tips are ready for use by moistening with water.
