TFC Xyrarock snow-white casting compound is a synthetic, gypsum-based and plastic-refined casting compound which is primarily used for casting figures, model and terrain components, as well as for the production of reliefs and artifacts. In its processing, the casting compound is characterized by its very precise, uniform, and rapid curing, starting after about 10 minutes. The extremely hard, non-chalking surface, as well as the high degree of whiteness of the material, lend the necessary contour even to small objects.
This is how it works
For processing, a weight fraction of water and 4 parts of pouring powders are mixed. To do this, slowly pour the powder into the water, let it infiltrate and mix until a uniform, flowable mass is formed. If possible, allow air bubbles to rise to the surface by tapping or shaking. Then fill the prepared mold halfway and spread the casting compound with a brush in the mold. In this way, further air bubbles escape and the casting compound is distributed in places that may be difficult to access. Now you can fill in the remaining casting compound and let everything harden.
The hardening process beings after 10 minutes with a heat development of up to 45 °C. Avoid contact with the skin. After approximately 30 minutes, the casting part can be removed. After a total of 24 hours, the cast part is completely dried and cured.
Please note
- Only suitable for children over 5 years.
